Traveling to the 2013 Area 1 Championship

Anyone traveling from the Eugene area? I am shooting Friday-Sunday and tentatively am driving Thursday-Monday. Anyone up for rideshare or something? The wife wants me to fly but I would rather not if I could help it.

Most of the guys I have talked to at ARPC are flying down. My wife and I are flying in Wednesday.

How are you dealing with your ammo? Shipping it?

I'm shipping it to the hotel and flying. Ticket to Vegas was only about 200. Would have been way more in gas.

My Ammo guy is shipping it for me to the match hotel, then I will pick it up from him.

You can also ship it to the match director. I contacted him for the address, and sent it to myself, in care of him. You can then pick it up at registration. This is the part of the match I'm most nervous about actually. With the scarcity of ammunition, you wouldn't be able to replace it if it was lost. I'm also going to take the allowed 11# with me on the plane. It wouldn't be enough for the whole match, but it would be something as back-up.
