Interpretation of the rules

The rule says that if someone has finished the pre-match, and later he is DQed on a side match and/or the shoot-off, then his already completed match results still stand.

So far, so good - but what if someone has finished the pre-match, then re-registers on the main match (just for fun, or in another division as per 6.2.4), then he is DQed on the main match. Since 10.3.5. gives the extent only if the shooter is DQed on the side match or shoot-off, should we remove that shooter's results of the previous division?

As it is now, IMHO the rules seem to say "yes".

TIA!

6.2.6 A match disqualification incurred by a competitor, at any time during a match, will prevent the competitor from further participation in the match including any subsequent attempts in another Division. However, this is not retroactive. Any previous and complete match scores from another Division will be included for recognition and awards in that Division.

Guess this answers "no" to your question: the previous (complete) results will stand.

Thanks, I missed it.

Thanks Vince, can I wear a badge saying Skywalker no longer fights Darth Vader, we´re in complete agreement now?

You sad puppy! :D

Of course you can't have a badge. Besides what would Vince do if everyone stopped fighting him? And it offers him a change from some of the dust ups he and I had. We had some humdingers in the past! :D

Nobody could ever say we didn't have proper debate!

We've made up now.
