seafood
This is my first post on this Forum which I've found to be full of useful and fascinating info,so I've taken the leap, logged on and posted this question in the hope that some one out may have a solution. I set up a practice stage of 3 targets at 15 yards. When I shoot them conservatively I'm shooting all A's. As soon as I start to really crank up the transition speed from target to target I find that the post is "wobbling" from side to side in the notch and my accuracy starts to deteriorate. Some thoughts of my own are that I'm shifting my snoulders slightly rather than pivoting cleanly through the hip.Can any of you guys help me with this? jnshapiro
Might also be that your grip pressure is increasing. That'll cause the symptom that you are seeing. Just a thought. Joel
Skywalker
Our very own host, in his book, suggests to try swinging from target to target by bending your knee(s) not to disturb the upper body stance. E.G. if you want to rotate your upper body from L to R, you can bend more your left knee, instead of just rotating at waist level. You might want to give it a try. seafood
Thanks for the heads up guys.I'll be trying out both your suggestions over the next couple of sessions to see if I can iron this problem out.
hopalong
Seafood, Make sure you are not twisting your wrists, keep that same triangle form like TGO explains, move with the knees and lower body as formally mentioned. Good luck. Hopalong
