galt11
Just curious can starline 9 supercomp and 38 supercomp be used interchangeably? I shoot 9mm bullets in an open gun so I thought it may be possible. Thanks Adam
superdude
They are not the same. The 9 supercomp, aka 9X23 comp, is a tapered case based on the original 9X23 Winchester. The 38 Supercomp is a straight walled case. If your gun is chambered for 9X23 (tapered chamber) you can use both. If your gun is chambered for 38 Super (or 38 Supercomp), the tapered 9 supercomp brass might not fit since it is wider at the base than a 38 Super and might get stuck if you fire it in a 38 Super chamber. If it does get stuck plan to use a brass tamping rod and a big-ass hammer because those babies can get STUCK!
