Shooter Grrl Posted October 20, 2001 Share Posted October 20, 2001 I hate not being able to shoot, but I'm so into the damned sport that I tag along and watch, which frustrates me more that I can't shoot. And then I have to answer all the well meaning friends questions of why I'm not shooting which just frustrates me more because I can't shoot. And then I have to answer all the questions about why I didn't just stay home, how could I come out and watch.... grrrrrrr :-) Next week, I'll be shooting again dammit! (I'm not shooting this week because I've been ill for 2 weeks and just don't have my strength back yet - a short walk to the mailbox drains me still!) BrianH Posted October 21, 2001 Share Posted October 21, 2001 I remember back when I was so into the sport, too....going back to work and hearing "did you shoot sunday?"......NO!.....(usually bad weather). I've tagged along sometimes.....I found that helping helps (har har).....RO'ing, taping targets, scoring. It's not as involved as shooting, but it's something. When my .38 Super went belly up years ago, I went to the state championship just to RO a stage and the fun shoot. Just had to be there......
