Which 90 degree mount for round top slide ?

I tried a Quinn iii on my SteelMaster and the scope hit the slide. Any suggestions ?

With more research it look like if worse came to worse I could shim up the predator tatical.

i put a quinn 2 on mine but i bought it undrilled. i drilled it so it clears the slide by .018. has worked great for many thousand rounds with no issues.

I was going to say the Quinn as it mounts the scope higher than my cheely mount, but I see you tried that, it may be the holes in your frame were drilled a tad low, and it worked with your old mount,

like sanke32 suggested, getting a blank mount and drill the hole so the c-more clears the slide would work, or another option would be to have your top end flat topped to clear your current mount.

personally, I 'd flat top my slide and comp, so if I ever decided to change the mount again, I wouldn't run into the same issue.

cost wise, I don't know how much it would be to flat top it, but Cheely Custom Guns lightened the slides on a couple of my guns and his work is outstanding and his prices were very reasonable

Thanks, I have been in touch with Cameron Guns and they said that they redesigned their mount to work on the round top so I will give it a try.
