It mentioned two pisolas I have not thought about in years, the Steyr GB and the H & K VP-70Z. I bought a VP-70Z from a company that offered surplus police guns and advertised them in a full page add on the back of Shotgun News. Two other cops and I I each bought one for $299.00 along with a plastic holster and two or three magazines. The trigger pull (all D/A) was like 22 pounds and a local "gunsmith" agreed to smooth it up for me. It was lighter alright. 18 founds in about a second and a quarter. It would go full auto, sometimes, but yu never new when. I knew the military model had an attachable stock that activatred the sear, but did not know the imported ones still had teh class II sear in the frame. I sold that gun pretty quickly to a guy that did nto mind taking a wheelbarrow of 9mm ammo to the range. Sorry about hijacking the thread, but that was one "interesting" firearm.
