Para super
Butttter is Betttter. Slow powder gives less pressure for a given velocity. WSF is a good one for major power factor or higher. For minor loads the slow powder may not have enough pressure to give a complete burn.
FightFireJay
is it bettter to use a slow powder or a fast powder for 40 cal. 180gr lead bullets and explain why That's like asking, "10w40 a better oil than 20w50? Explain why." The answer to both questions depends on the application. Specifically how important it is for you to keep recoil minimal? Are you trying for a specific "power factor" or velocity? How comfortable are you loading near max load?
