Reducing glare from a cmore lense

Especially under flourescent lighting, is there a product out there I can apply in the lense of the cmore to reduce reflected glare?

Also, using a gray body, I seem to be having more glare than one with a black-colored body. I'm thinking it's not the overhead lighting that's being reflected but the body area immediately in front of the diode?

Thanks.

have you tried putting masking tape painted flat black after the diode? this might cut down the glare

hth

Now why didn't I think of that? Thanks doc. ;)

You could also call C-More and get a black battery cover!

Overseas call is too expensive. Shot them an email 3X though, not a single response. :(

Really appreciate all the replies guys.

Last night I was fiddling with it noting which spots were reflecting too much light. It then occured to me it might be the cellulose tape I used to cover the face of the module (so it won't get dirty and mess my dot again). So I removed it and the glare was gone.

<_<

So I guess cmore did it right when they designed that thing with no reflective cover, huh? :P ...some things you just can't leave alone... :D
