RedHawk
I have a Witness Compact in .40 S&W caliber. Recently I bought 2 magazines from Glen Zanders and was distressed to find that I had a lot of trouble getting the follower to depress enough to load the first round, but I got them loaded. Went to the range and enerything went fine except that the slide locked open without chambering the last round. The round was about 1/2 way out of the Magazine when the slid locked open. I took the magazine apart and turned the spring(s) around 180 degrees so that it was not pushing so hard on the front of the follower. Now they work perfectly and loads a lot easier too. Question: Has this problem occurred with anyone else? Did they get assembled wrong? All I know is that it works now, but I would feel better if I knew what the score is on this....thanks. Skydiver
What color is the follower? Orange? Is there a rib along the front inner surface of the magazine?
