newb needs mag parts for STI 2011

Dawson Precision is closed for the weekend so I can't ask them what to get for mags. I want a hicap 140mm Limited setup for an STI Eagle in .40 cal.

plan on getting the DP SNL basepads

plan on geting DP spring and follower

plan on getting a big ice magwell

I'm not sure what STI mag body to get 126 or 140mm? I would think its a 140 that is actually shorter.

When setting up mags from parts are there any other small parts you need to get?

Grams 11 coil spring and follower

Dawson base pad regular or SNL(just make sure to measure the mags with the SNL on)

Im running the setup with the non SNL and am getting 20 rounds in the mag reloadable. I tried a dawson follower setup and was getting 19

Get an egw mag guage so you can measure your mags to make sure there legal. I use 140 sti tubes, grams 11 coil spring and follower, and dawson snl base pads. i get 20 rounds reloadable and have only had to file the back of a couple of tubes feed lips to fit the guage.

What those guys said I love Dawson stuff but the Grams follower with spring is a VERY good choice

Order sent to Shooter's Connection for three 140mm bodies with SNL base and gramm spring and followers.

I'm hoping the gun comes with a mag for additional versatility especially at practice.
