lsr1238
Is there a difference between the Syrac clamp-on click adjustable gas block and the Syrac/JP JPGS-SO adjustable gas block? I couldn't find dimensions on the Syrac clamp-on. From JP's sight, the length is 1", width 0.904" http://www.jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPGS-SO Here's the product page from MidwayUSA http://www.midwayusa.com/product/321768/syrac-ordnance-click-adjustable-gas-block-ar-15-lr-308-standard-barrel-0750-inside-diameter-clamp-on-low-profile-steel-matte And from CPWSA http://www.cpwsa.com/3_gun_stuff.htm Anyone know if a Syrac clamp-on will fit in a Loki carbon fiber handguard? On another thread, someone said the clamp-on will need an inside diameter of 1.75"

MickB
They are the same. I believe JP has started shaving the top of the blocks to facilitate fit under different handguards. They shaved the top of mine.... Mick
lsr1238
I wonder if the JP version has a lower profile or if they shave the top off for each custom rifle they build.
