wsurface
I recently purchased an SP-01 Shadow Custom from CZ Custom, what a nice gun. I only shoot factory ammo such as WWB 115 gr., Speer Lawman, Remington UMC, etc. The gun came with an 11 pound recoil spring and I'm wondering if I need to put in a heavier spring since I don't reload and just shoot factory ammo. I believe the factory recoil spring weight for the standard SP-01 is 19 pounds. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The factory recoil spring for a stock SP01 I want to say is 13-14 or something around there.
Torogi
I have shot factory CCI with 11# recoil spring and it was nice felt recoil. I dont think you need to change it to factory. It would just slam the slide harder, more work on slide stop. I'd keep the 11#. EDIT: like Corey said, maybe 2# more but not the factory.
