hal1955 Posted August 4, 2012 Share Posted August 4, 2012 I have a pistol that is chrome steel and has a frosted finish. It has a few nicks on it that appear as bright spots. practical_man Posted August 6, 2012 Share Posted August 6, 2012 That is not necessarily an easy job. Chrome plating is a fairly thin but hard finish. If the nicks penetrated the plating, the best fix is strip and replate.
