Paul-the new guy
This will seem like a duh moment to most of you, however while doing my dry practice today I started never taking my eyes off the target while doing a reload... wow what a diference this seemed to make. I was running my fake plate rack, doing 3 plates and then a reload and then 3 more. Since they don't fall I would have to pretty much figure out where I should be when I re-acquired the plate. th new way, I knew right where I was it seemed hours faster! Corey
So you're doing a blind reload and not looking at where the mag is going and its faster?
Sheperd80
For uspsa and idpa i definitely take my eyes off target for a few reasons. -reloading is easier for me if i can see the magwell, which i bring right up to almost eye level -im usually moving to a different array or shooting position while reloading so theres no target to look at. But for steel im sure it doesnt always work out that way. To each his own.
Paul-the new guy
So you're doing a blind reload and not looking at where the mag is going and its faster? Yeah, its not totally blind because the gun is up in my face but yeah, pretty much. Fake targets and dry fire so It will probably be different in live fire with real targets.
