Mat Price
I broke a reverse plug sometime ago and got another from a buddy that was already trimmed and fit my gun. Now I have a new one and need to fit it to my slide. Looking at it seems as though I just need to remove the excess from the front end of the plug so that is does not contact the the comp. Seems to simple lol. So is that it? I was just going to put it on my belt sander and slowly remove material and keep checking the fit?
Braxton1
How much needs to be trimmed off? If you have to take too much off, the spring is just going to shoot out the front of the gun because you'll cut into the larger inside diameter that's about .100" inside. If it CAN be done, then your method should work well.

Mat Price
End mill to the bottom of the comp fixed it. Now I can run a full 5 inch recoil system if I want to.
