toddje
Is anyone out there running 9mm Major through an M&P or M&P Pro? I'm curious how it's working out for folks (or if its being done), as well as what changes were made (barrel, springs, etc) to get it running how you liked. It seems to me like the only parts that are significantly different between 9 and .40 M&P's are the barrels, and therefore the pistol itself should probably be all right with running major loads. Thanks in advance for any advice and/or links to threads I'm not finding! I did try my search-fu, but didn't see a thread quite like this. I apologize if my search-fu was weak. I found some hints that folks were doing this, but I guess i expected to see more.
downhere2
Someone on the m&p forums was experimenting with one so you might try a search there. I think it was Dan Burwell.
Roland
On the MP forum the person running major loads if I remember correctly seemed to have damaged the barrel.
Roland
Someone on the m&p forums was experimenting with one so you might try a search there. I think it was Dan Burwell. I found the Dan Burwell thread. He said he had no problems making major. http://mp-pistol.com/boards/index.php?/topic/15104-open-mp/page__p__157226#entry157226
