Mat Price
I currently use a Dillion 650 to load 9 major. I was wondering if I could just use my 9 mm die backed out a bit to seat .38 super comp. then all I need is u die and fcp die to save money. noylj
Certainly. Also, you can use the same bullets. .38 Super barrels generally have groove diameters of 0.355-0.356. 9x19 barrels, as barrels in most guns and NOT I would assume in real 9mm Major guns, will range from 0.355-0.362". Same shell holder, different sizing die, same expander, seater, and taper crimp dies will work. Re: bullets--if you ever want to really work towards accuracy in a 9mm, try 0.356-0.357" jacketed bullets. You'll often be surprised how much more your 9mm "likes" these larger bullets...
