Also, if your extension is a Nordic, the same brand clamp seems like a good idea to me. I have a +6 and a clamp on my Versa Max, both from NC. My +8 is also from NC. Edited to add: The NC Pic rail segment is on the way to me, also. I'll try a small laser on my Open gun to see what that does. Nordic Components are like Lego sets for shotguns.
