Rosshooting
Is it legal in IPSC production division to replace the rear sights of my sig 226 with Novak type? Thanks!
Skywalker
Powerman, as long as you replace a rear sight with one of the same type, and in doing so you don't have to alter the gun, you're legal. Same type: if the original is a plain square notch rear sight, you're not allowed to put on it a ghost ring, and aperture sight or a fiber optic sight. 20.2 Aftermarket sights of the same type and kind offered by the OFM for the approved handgun are permitted, provided their installation and/or adjustment requires no alteration to the handgun.
