triplesinglestack
I have a springfield loaded 9mm, that has a few miles on it, the breech face is showing some pitting (not too bad) slide to frame is getting sloppy, and the barrel may be okay, but I'm thinking I heard somewhere that you could open the breech face and change barrels on this model and have a .40 S&W, I searched several topics and did not find anything, thanks J
RIIID
Yes, that can be done. Going back to 9mm will be a problem if you ever decide to. A new top end in 40 would be the most versatile option. The frame rails can be welded up and refitted to make the 9mm slide tighter. Rich
