Mike Morcillo
Before I buy a case of Fiocchi slugs, will they cycle a Remington 1100?
lynn jones
they cycle in my gun. really soft shooting. you may want to invest in another piston ring. by from midway Item ID 334460 Remington Barrel Seal Activator ...
LPatterson
The part listed is really for an 11-87 that was designed for 3" shells and has a different gas port system (2 ports instead of 1). If this is a purpose built gun for 3 gun then you might do better opening up the gas port. It is what I did to reliabily use Remington low recoil slugs. Be gentle with the drill size expecially if you are also going to use high brass shot shells. Our range limits shot size so it was not a problem. Shawn Knight
I use the 7/8oz 1300fps slugs in my 1100 and they work very well. They even cycle my wife's SX2 3-1/2 mag gun.
