e-mishka
I noticed that rear sight is a bit loose on my stock II 9mm. There is forward and side to side play in the frame cut. Any ideas on how to cure it?
pivoproseem
Might need to take out the big adjustment screw on top of the sight to get to the two set screws underneath. I would remove the screws, apply some Loc-tite and re-torque.
Skydiver
That's just wrong... I wonder how that passed quality control.

Mo Hepworth
yep,..loosen the big screw totally, but be mindfull not to lose the spring,...then use some blue loctite or even black nail polish on the threads and tighten them. Be carefull not to use too much.
Skydiver
I'm confused. Is it the base of the rear sight that is in the dovetail that is loose, or is it the adjustable part of the rear sight that is loose?
e-mishka
Base part was loose in dovetail. Per pivoproseem suggestion, I put some locktight on two little screws and tightened them up. Seems ok now, lets see how it will hold Edited February 27, 2012 by e-mishka
