SAMMY63
I have a TS 40 that I am using in limited (great gun) but last weekend I had issues with magazine feeding (that has been resolved using information from this forum). I decided that I should carry a back up gun, my problem is the only backup gun I have right now is my Shadow in 9mm. I need information (can I, should I & how) on loading bullets to meet the major pf. I use TG, federal primers. I have 147 fmj montana golds. Is it safe to load major and shoot it threw the shadow. If this information is anywhere it should be on this forum, thanks and good shooting.
dover0020
Unless you are shooting open you can't load 9mm to major power factor. In limited to score major the bullet must be a 40SW or larger. So even if you did load up some 9mm majors they would not be scored major. Hope this helps

david s
The Europeans shoot mostly 9MM +P and the rest of the time they shoot +P+. They run some very hot 9MM ammo in Europe that doesn't make it over here. Your Shadow was raised on 9MM Major loads. Change your spring to 18lbs.
