Sarge Posted January 13, 2012 Share Posted January 13, 2012 I have looked over most of the threads on springs and it seems not many run 7lb springs in their Open guns. I dropped a 7 in mine (from an 8)the other day and the timing was so much better for me. My follow ups were much tighter and the dot was just where it needed to be. My builder says it is fine to run a 7 but others have had reservations about it, claiming reliability and abuse concerns. What do you Open shooters think of those concerns?
