chp5
I was having some mag trouble with my LTD .40 hi cap mags. I found that my mags have two diffent kind of followers - both Glock manufacture. The "bad" followers are taller on the left side and concave as it arches to the top of the left hand side. The "good" followers are also taller on the left side, but more convex. These followers have the # 5 stamped on them. I don't have any extra followers, so I just swaped the "good" followers into the troubled mags. When I did that, the mags seemed to work fine. What is the latest and greatest Glcok .40 follower? Thanks.
chp5
I found my own answer. My "good" followers are the latest version (as far as I can tell) and are marked with the # 5 on them. Here's the history of .40 Glock hi cap followers if you care: "If you want the latest follower, it is part # 1028. They go like this (earliest to latest). .40 1028, .40 1028, .40, 2 .40, 3 .40, 4 .40, 5 Bases for nfml 9/40 mags is #455. Insert is # 5166. Bases for fml 9/40 mags is #3206. Insert is #5166 (same as nfml)."
Flexmoney
cy, If you can get some pictures of them to me (or point me to them online), I'll post them.
chp5
Thanks Flex. I gave it a try but my digital camera takes very poor close up shots and the pic is useless. You can tell the newer ones because they have a "5" stamped on it.
bberkley
I replaced all my stock Glock followers in my full cap G22 mags (with +5 extensions) with the Arredondo followers. I never had any problems with them.
