nheiny13
I know that the Ed Brown grip safeties won't fit on an SA frame but does anyone know of a grip safety that allows a hold as high as the brown that fits the SA? If there isn't one, how difficult/expensive would it be to weld up the frame so an Ed Brown will fit?

Ed Brown is a .250; just search & research .220 grip safeties
RIIID
The Ed Brown will work on an uncut Springfield frame(mil-spec/GI), the top of the tangs will not blend cleanly. If it has already been cut(.220) I use the S&A grip safety and I cut it for a higher grip. Rich
