lumpygravy Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 I tried various forum searches but nothing... weak search-fu probably I have one of the old Wilson heavy/fat tungsten guide rods that is no longer manufactured. I need a new collar that retains the recoil spring. I tried Wilson directly, but not only do they not have any, they had no suggestions on alternative sources. Does anyone out there in the Benoverse have any ideas on: 1] who might still have/sell this particular part? 2] how one might be able to self fabricate this part? or 3] who might be able to fabricate the part for me? I was thinking of contacting a local machine shop but this is an awfully small piece for a one time fabrication. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
