Rckymtnshooter Posted October 10, 2011 Share Posted October 10, 2011 I'm looking at the STI currently in the classified with the hybricomp barrel and comp. I tried the search but didn't see anything that is a match to this gun. It has a hybricomp, six holes, with a two port comp. Anyone have any experience with this setup. I'm looking at it for my wife. diehli Posted October 10, 2011 Share Posted October 10, 2011 Looks kinda like how Rusty Kidd used to build his Vipers (at least based on the one Dave Re used to shoot), with an extra set of ports in the comp to substitute for the lateral ports in the barrel and through the slide. bigstick0000 Posted October 23, 2011 Share Posted October 23, 2011 I had a setup similar to that on my first open gun and a GM told me that was a violent gun. Didnt know what he meant until I shot his open gun. Of course Im sure it had a lot to do with load recipe and other factors but it convinced me enough to get rid of it.
