Mat Price Posted August 2, 2011 Share Posted August 2, 2011 (edited) I have an STI edge with a weird hammer follow issue. It will not follow on slide forward while holding the trigger or without. But falls to half cock from from full cock when the trigger is depressed. I think it's a sear spring issue. It is a buddy of mine's gun. GSWEAR Posted August 2, 2011 Share Posted August 2, 2011 So your saying the hammer doesn't really follow but when you pull the trigger in a normal manner it stops at half cock? If so then I think bull2700 is correct. I would hold the hammer back while doing any further trouble shooting because it is probably beating the hell out of the sear nose.
