Just took this off the Big green Egg--with white burbon cream sauce, man it was good

Everyone I know who has the big green egg swears by it. I'm convinced it's a cult.

That said, I want to hear more about that white bourbon cream sauce!

Cook in dutch oven--1 table spoon unsalted butter

1/4 cup morel ,or baby bella mushrooms,small dice

1/4 cup shallots

1 clove garlic,minced

1/2 cup your fav,burbon,or brandy

2 cups heavy cream

kosher salt

cayenne pepper

melt and brown butter,add mushrooms saute 3,4 min..add shallots and garlic,stir 2 min,,add burbon,it will flame up,let it burn off and reduce by 2/3 add cream stir constantly 3,4 min until it thickens enough to coat the back of wooden spoon,,add salt and cayene at end,or it will be to salty,,put lid on to keep warm,,hope this helps.
