shopgun
On this Memorial day 2011, I just finished rereading the autobiography of Audie Murphy, the most highly decorated combat veteran of WW 2. To those of you who have not read this book, it is a must read. It does not celebrate Audie Murphy, but the many friends who fought with but did not survive with him. It is a stark remembrance of of all those WW2, and by inference all combat troops of all our conflicts who lost their lives to defend our freedom. God bless them all!!!! CZinSC
That's one of my favorite WWII movies. I'll have to add that to my read list. Thanks!
