Cylinder & slide 1911 ambi mag release

Anyone use c&s ambi mag release? What is the mechanism of it, do you push it forward? Pull it to the rear? Push down or up to release mag? I'm right handed and have trouble reaching the button. I guess the "cheapest" alternative for s&a ambi is the c&s. I prefer, by the way pulling it to the rear by my right hand index finger. How other brand?

i have mitchell custom left side release it works nice but is not cheap

I have the smith and alexander one. Works great and is a press-in motion like a regular mag release. I had to take it off though as my grip kept getting higher and higher (I have giant hands, though). It's about $90-100 or so.

I am a lefty and I have been using the C&S release for about two years. Its a great release. The release on the right side of the grip is actually a lever that you push down on and it pulls the mag release out.

I like the Mitchell much more than the C&S. It is very easy to manipulate.
