New4John
Pardon my ignorance here but I just picked up a DMW over sized bolt handle for an M2. The bolt handle has a flat spot on the spindle that inserts into the bolt and I figure it's there for a reason. With the gun laying barrel facing right, looking into the hole in the bolt, does the flat spot go 12, 3, 6 or 9 O'Clock or does it matter? Looking at the factory handle didn't help me as I didn't see anything obvious that would clue me in.

New4John
12 O'clock I still haven't figured out what it's purpose it, but it obviously has one from an operability standpoint. It will physically go in other ways, but I can't tell any discernible difference from a fit/feel standpoint.
