  1. Dumb question you start with 9 in the gun but are you allowed to add more on/after the buzzer? If you are I'd keep the extra length + 3 tube and load the 3 as soon as the timer goes off if thats legal.
  2. Hi Viz Tri Comp on my M2-I feel the triangle shape give me an advantage over the round sights as it 'points' to where I aim. Go green/yellow http://www.hivizsights.com/products/tricomp.html Never had it come off yet.
  3. This one works for me on my M2 (one finger operation) also have the speedbar. http://davesmetalworks.com/m12.html
  4. A youth model 20g (most comp's will allow 20g and a youth stock will fit her better) I'd also invest in one of those slip on recoil absorbing (PAST) shoulder pads. http://www.amazon.com/Past-Mag-Plus-Recoil-Shield/dp/B0013R8J48 AND some low recoil 12g shells, someone else with better knowledge of the cartridges/shells available in 20g and avalible in North America can chime in from my own limited knowledge I'd go for Winchester AA featherlights,if they cycle ok. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/2900611517/winchester-aa-featherlite-target-ammunition-20-gauge-2-3-4-7-8-oz-8-shot
  5. Theres a reason most of us are running M2's. Like the Saiga 12 they need a little work/add ons to make them more user freindly Like the others I say give it a while longer to get used to the new battery of arms and maybe go looking into the current vouge loading vests and smoothing out/reducing the loading port. Look at the other low cost additions like a Daves Metal Works speed bar and an enlarged bolt handle, you could get those for a few $$$ at Brownell,Midway or even DMW direct and they will make a massive differnce for a tiny outlay.
  6. The lfter is removered, a small amount of metal is welded into/over the cut out then ground smooth,I'm guessing its then painted. Jeff at c-rums is well respected on here but doesnt ship to the United Kingdom.
  7. I would suggest a 26 inc (ribbed) barrel Benelli M2 for 3 gun and clay shooting (check the rules about barrel lenght and capacity first) as they would be different to over here in the UK. Benelli nova or supernova for Heavy Metal. Benelli seem to be far and away the most popular make for 3 gun.
  8. I have an M2 also Extension tube by Nordic Components as already suggested. I'd look to replace the front sight as the M2 has a particulaly teeny weeny one,I replaced mine with a hi-viz triangular shaped one as my eyes also are not what they used to be http://www.hivizsights.com/Shotgun-TriComp-Front-Sight-P26C1.aspx I think thats the minimum. Possibly a bolt release but you could 'get by' I have the Daves Metal Works 'speed bar' one on mine, had to buy it from Midway UK as DMW wouldnt ship to the UK. Bit of tape over the Benelli 'Devils fork' loading gate till you can get it sorted!
  9. Found this one with a bit of Googeling for an M4,as above could it be modified to fit your M2? http://www.sidearmor.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=28_30&products_id=71
  10. Can't see why it wouldnt be leagal for 3 gun,you will be at a dissadvantage on magazine capacity though. If anyone moans try Western 3 gun http://www.western3gun.com/
  11. I've just recived a + 7 nordic tube for my 26 inc barrel Benelli M2 and it sticks about an inch past the barrel (the NC tube) giving me 10+1 capacity.
  12. How about sharing it with us then?
  13. Micheal, There deff a need for this type of service over here,if its succesful let me know I may also be able to put you in contact with someone else. Cheers Steve
  14. I've a horrible feeling most of the shooters in the uk got their lifters from Jeff long before he stopped shipping out of the U.S. REALLY greatful for any help in this area.
  15. The time has come for me to get a welded lifter for my Benelli M2,I approached Jeff at c-rums as he has a good reputation on here but he's unable to send one out of the U.S (dispite my being LEO) Can anyone suggest someone else who can do a good job AND be willing to send to England. Thanks in advamnce guys.
  16. Won't it weigh a ton with all the tubes loaded?
  17. The person you want to speak to is Steve Pike at Shield Shooting Centre he builds 12g's for PSG (Practical Shotgun)he did a really nice extension for one of my mates Benelli M1 in geuine carbon fibre it looks very cool. Shield Shooting Centre 01308 482626 he'll do the extension any length you want. Say Steve Sullivan from Sussex sent you. Let us know how you get on.
  18. For 'Bolt on' goodies I'd suggest Daves Metal Works aviliable direct or from Midway,I'd buy the enlarged bolt handle, bigger saftey, carrier release and follower. Having said that I'd go for a Nordic tibe over a DMW as I believe their lighter. Modding the loading gate and rounding out the surrounding area is a popular mod, lots of people on here have done it,would be worth doing a search and making your own mind up who you want to do the work,I noticed some geat bevelling of the lifter recently with a channel or groove to aid the shotshell feeding/direction which was a new development. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=84338&st=75 I'd also put a bigger fibre optic bead, there is a triangular fibre optic bead that looks intresting but I can't remember who makes it.
  19. I've a friend who swears by them, going to give it a go myself and if it doesnt work I'll look into another.
  20. This is what I'll be buying when I've saved up for my new M2 http://www.poly-choke.com/
  21. A small amount of blue loctite is what you want.
  22. It has that cut out at the end (I'm guessing so you can remove a jammed shell?) that everyone seems to damage thier thumb on when loading.
  23. Thanks for the offer I'll bear it in mind I am miles away in West Sussex so it would be a bit of a road trip (although I'm a member) Cheers Steve
  24. I was asking as I'll be in the market for a new M2 from Steve at Sheild in the near future (its a small World!) Let us know how you get on I'm assuming you need it for the match in a couple of weeks time?
