bgary
I have a toolhead set up with a Redding small-base full-length sizing die for .223 I'd like to add the RT-1200 so that the cases are trimmed just after they are sized... but my understanding is that the trimmer die is set up to size *and* trim. Is it possible to "back off" the trimmer die a bit so that it does the trim without touching (or bumping) the shoulder?
dillon
I suggest that you use a headspace case gage to make sure the headspace is set the same on both dies. Personally, I use a universal deprime die in the first station, set up the trimmer across from it, and process all my brass. Then I swap toolheads and load.
