I have the factory sight on both the Eagle and Spartan and the sight picture is so much better on the spartan due to the sight being deeper. I found I shoot the deeper notch best, the little wider but not as deep notch second best and the narrow short notch like the STI sight has worst. Looking for a rear that is quite a bit deeper than the factory sti one as the spartans is noticeably deeper. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

MoNsTeR Posted May 11, 2011 Share Posted May 11, 2011 Tripp is offering custom widths, don't know about depths but should be possible. The Wilson adjustable sight comes with a .128" wide notch and definitely has enough material to get the notch depth to .125" or so, which would very nearly match the .125"x.125" Heinie notch.
