buckaroo45
As my eyes grow heavy snd my sight grows dim I'm toying with mounting a Doctor red dot on my P16 Limited and go play with the Open guys. I've found a low Doctor mount for a 1911 and am wondering if the rear sight dovetail dimensions are the same as my Para. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ "They say one man can't make a difference........that's why I have a spotter." buckaroo45
As with most things in life, there's a learning curve for dinking with guns. Seems I've presented a trick question. THERE AIN'T NO STANDARD 1911 DOVETAIL SPECS! Largly depends on mfg. Standard Para specs are .375 X 30 degrees for the rear and .250 X 20 degrees for the front. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Those who do not take an interest in public affairs are doomed to be ruled by evil men ~ PLATO, 300 BC
B_Ayers
Well it also depends on when the gun was made....the 1990's (pre power extractor) and the turn of the century model's differ when it comes to slide componets.
