saab Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Although I like the large grip on my M&P pro because it makes me index the grip higher, I found that in competition, I shoot better with the small grip. I was told by a local Bianchi expert that it lets the rest of my fingers pull back in a straighter line with the muzzle. I also started putting a little more finger on the trigger. Well, I shot about 200 rounds yesterday and made a noticeable improvement. I shot 2 practical stages and 1 barricade. As far as one handed, I made adjustments to my stance, which helped also. I'm going to try to shoot about 1.5 to 2k rounds before Bianchi. Another thing I noticed, with the stock barrel, it groups much better with JHP's. However, with my new KKm barrel, the opposite is true. I got a 1 and 1/8 5 shot group with FMJ and the JHP's were about twice as big and tended to shoot about an inch to the right. Just my 2 cents.
sdm74 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Did the kkm barrel drop right in without any problems? When shooting the cmj or fmj was it more consistent groups over the stock barrel?
saab Posted May 4, 2011 Author Posted May 4, 2011 Thee KKM was a drop in. FMJ's were just not consistent with the stock barrel. The JHP'S were, for whatever reason.
