maddox Posted May 2, 2011 Share Posted May 2, 2011 First stage last weekend, we all do the walk through, I am half way down the line so I have plenty of time to go over things in my head. I start off with a staged gun then go to pistol. Retrieve my rifle and as soon as a shoulder it I realize I forgot to turn it on (1st mistake). I make a decision that I can shoot the targets blind since they are fairly close (2nd mistake). I hit the close targets no problem but a couple of targets a little farther out I miss completely. 25 seconds worth of penelties is the difference from 7th to 12th overall. Live and learn.
