Frady
I have an Armalite AR-24 pistol that is basically a copy of a small frame witness. I would like to replace the mainspring with a wolff spring to lighten the DA trigger. I have read about other people doing this with good results, but I can't seem to find any instructions to do this. I am moderately mechanically inclined, but before I go tearing into my gun I was hoping to find a good set of instructions. I have tried several searches without any luck. I found this video, but I'm not sure how similar that pistol is to the small frame witness. http://henningshootsguns.com/tech/tech.tanfoglio.frame.assembly.html Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Glk21C
It's about the same, really depends if you have an old or newer small frame. Old has a long hammer spring in the back of.the grip. Newer is like in the video, short, right under the bottom of the hammer. Do a Google search for tanfoglio hammer removal as well.
