RH45
I generally use Titegroup, or Clays, but, I had a jug of VV 310 and decided to try it for loading some .40 minor loads. Since there's no published data for 310, in .40, I guessed at a number and loaded some Nosler 135, some Bayou 140 grain, some MG 155s, and some Zero 165s all with 4 grains of 310 with an OAL of 1.2" I took them out to the range, and was getting some really weird results. Only the 165 grain bullets were consistent. I'm going to GUESS it has something to do with too much empty space in the case. Any ideas? Thanks, in advance! toddrod
My results are the same as yours except I also used it in 9mm. Could not get anything consistant with N310
tulsashooter45
The load that I use for Steel Challange is 3.5 of 310, 165 JHP Montana Gold, @ 1.190. Change the recoil spring to 10#, I have not run this over a chronograph but the gun (2011) runs great with this set up
