Need some 155 and 180 lead .40 loads w/ Win 231

Hi, I'm trying to work up some loads for my Glock 35. It has a KKM barrel.

I have 155 grain RN and 180 TFP lead bullets.

I have an 8 pound jug of Win 231 that I use for other loads and would like to use it if possible.

Anyone have any good starting points or loads that they use? I did a search and didn't see many that were using Win 231 and even fewer with lead.

I'd like to make major with one of the loads, but I'd be happy with a starting point for now.

enutees i shot 155s with 5.5 grs of 231 & 5.2 with 175gr bullets before i switched to tight group. I hope that helps.

Take a look at my loads, I hope these help:

Winchester list the following. Loaded to 1.150"

170gr Lead. 4.0gr = 850fps (145pf), 5.2gr = 1030fps (175pf)

for 180gr lead drop back .3grains on above.

For 155gr Lead add about .3gr to the above. I have seen load data for as much as 5.7gr with a 155gr Lead loaded to 1.20". Be careful if you load shorter length or more powder.

At 1.250" these SHOULD be slower and you must work up slowly and check for pressure.
