kellymc
I was wonder if a Ambi saftey advertized for a ar 223[mil spec] would fit a colt ar 9mm without a lot of extra fitting? Edited April 4, 2011 by kellymc
ShooterSteve
it would be pretty straight forward to look in the lower and watch it work, and know right off the bat if it will be safe for your rifle. You could always order the JP safety. It has a set screw that you can adjust to be very safe. The screw runs down onto the top of the trigger and locks it in place very securely. It costs a little more, but it is a first rate piece of equipment.
highxj
The 9mm Colt AR uses the same safety as the 5.56 models......
kellymc
Thanks for the information.I took a look at the two side by side and the safteies looked the same. The 5.56 had a 2stage tigger and that made the comparason a little harder to be sure Edited April 5, 2011 by kellymc
