J-Rob
I'm thinking about picking up a Smith & Alexander IDPA vest and was just wondering if anyone here uses one. Pictures would be great since their website isn't all that up-to-date.
Louis Walker
I'm thinking about picking up a Smith & Alexander IDPA vest and was just wondering if anyone here uses one. Pictures would be great since their website isn't all that up-to-date. I used one last year. I upgraded to the 5.11 Taclite this year. I found the S&A vest to be very thin and light. This makes sweeps for your draw more difficult. On the plus side, its not as hot to wear as other vests during the summer months.
TMcGowan
This was my first vest years ago. Like Louis said, they are thin and very light. If the wind is blowing they can actually get in the way of the draw. I have a woolrich tactical vest that is the light model. It is not bad in warm weather and sweeps very good. I have tried about all of them over the years and I like it the best. Hope this helps.
