Wildbill1965 Posted February 27, 2011 Share Posted February 27, 2011 Been away from competitive shooting for about 30 years ... Shot 3 pos small bore rifle as a junior... Qualified to qualify at nationals but not enough sponsorship, and got into competiive cycling instead, turning my energies to the road at that time. I never lost the love for shooting...Want to become proficient with at least one side-arm. Have no idea how to start, or if any USPSA or other organizations even operate anything in the MA/RI area. I am sure there must be. My first inclination is to head over to my friendly, neighborhood gun shop (carries Glock) and see what's up... Maybe I can try a bunch of pistols and see what else works. So far the only ones tried in the past so far (owned by others) are the Sig p226 and the Beretta m9 ... Love the Sig, but they be a bit pricey. Hell, so are Berettas. Have yet to try a Glock.
