Correct pinning of gas tube

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, the gas tube pin (the ONLY freakin part that I didn't put in this upper myself :angry2: ) fell out at the Texas 2gun this weekend, and the gas tube rotated 90 degrees, and turned my Limited AR15 into a single shot. This silly little pin cost me a very good finish at this match.

So, I'm changing out the gas block to an adjustable while I've got it apart, but I WANT TO MAKE SURE that I put the gas tube in correctly!

Please share your knowledge, my search-fu came up weak this time.

thanks,

Kyle

wacko.gif the couple I've done were just a simple punch out punch in...I've never heard of a different way to do it???

My barrel nut came loose during that match though (which was factory installed)...sick.gif

EDIT: @ 24:00 of this video, there seems to be like a pretty good clip of someone installing one
