Don't expect to have a pretty gun afterwards though. AAAHHHhhhh I HATE getting pine sap on me! I'd rather get dog shit on my hands than pine sap. At least you can wash dog shit off. RePete Posted February 12, 2011 Share Posted February 12, 2011 I only wear gloves using rifle, but if I do when shooting pistol, it's because my hands are feeling a little arthritic. The gloves I use are padded, leather work gloves with half of the index finger and half of the thumb removed. This is the way I bought them. They are similar to a Mechanics glove.
