Hey guys I'm new to competition and I've decided on a Glock 35. I need to know the basics that I need to get for it to be ready for IPSC. All responses need to be legal for IPSC, and also I'm a college student so the best bang for my buck is appreciated. Thanks everyone for the help.

I use a CR Speed holster and CR speed mag pouches. The CR Speed mag pouches can be used for a lot of applications depending on inserts you put in them...yes, they come with them...for Glock, Para, STI, etc. Switch out the insert and use them for other setups.

Edited to add: Just because I use CR Speed doesn't mean its the best option for your application. There are a lot of other belts and mag pouches out there that are good...but with my limited budget, they seem to work great for me. I use them in production with G35, limited with Para P16, and open with a STI Trubor.

First off, welcome!

Something that isn't always obvious to new members is that it's a little different here than many other forums. For one, the level of experience, knowledge is pretty amazing. The other thing that goes along with that, is that most sorta normal questions have been asked multiple times. The search function works well here, and you can often find answers without even searching...just scroll through a page or two in the subsection most closely associated with your question (in this case, we'd be talking the Gear forum). The moderators have asked that folks try to use existing threads, rather than repeatedly posting the same questions...that keeps the information in just a few places, so it's easier for everybody to find.

I went to the gear section and did a search on just the word Production, and this is a sampling of the pages and pages of hits that came up that were holster, belt or mag pouch related:

Welcome to the Forum.

I've had very good luck with Mach2Tactical and so have several other

shooters. Its in Wisconsin, owned by Mark Miller. He makes his own

stuff and does an excellent job. With his stuff you can use your pants

belt if you want, at least to get started. I also believe he has a

sale going on right now.
