rtr
I just got a Trijicon Accupoint, took it outside an played around with it a bit, I'm not sure what I should be seeing in relation to the BAC working. If I keep both eyes or one eye open I see the exact same thing, which is fine, just want to make sure I'm not missing something. So please explain slowly and carefully exactly what I should be seeing, thanks.
DblTap
There's a good explanation of the Bindon Aiming Concept on the Trijicon site. Click the tab on the right labeled BAC. How do you like the Accupoint so far?
Derek45
Take any red-dot, aimpoint, etc., and put a lense cover over the front. Turn the scope on, when you look into it, you'll see a red dot with a black background. From low ready, look at the target with both eyes, bring up the rifle and your dominant eye will see the dot, your other eye will see the target and you brain will mix the two images. BigDave
More or less you find the target with your non-scope eye (left eye if you are right handed and right eye dominant), you move the reticle to the object you wish to aim at and then the brain substitutes the magnified image (right eye) for the non-magnified image (left eye).
